I would like to add a pump to my decked L'Edge. I have them in my other open canoes and enjoy them. I have an idea, but do not want to reinvent the "wheel". Suggestions will be appreciated.

I use to have a decked L'Edge, I just opened it.
I do not think you need a pump in a decked L'Edge it is so dry.

I use two Radio Controlled car batteries 7.2v each in a Pelican case behind the saddle, and a Seasense 1100 pump that fits between the left side of the bulkhead and the hull between my kneepad and the bulkhead by my left knee - just a pressfit with a little bit of foam added. That puts the pump in the lowest part of the boat without chopping at the bulkhead - lowest part would be in the center underneath your crotch.

I put the pump on my onside chine, the lowest part of the boat when pumping water with a brace on/lean on.
If I'm running and gunnin' the water is slopping back and forth and I take what I get.
