personally I think it helps paddlers to see failed technique coached up VS see a model roll. I think there is a fair amount of that here that could be positive.
I taught this guy a little different. I had 5 minutes at the end of a pool session so we just worked on the roll from "the start position". I made a mistake with this guy lifting the paddle postion and not pulling out the T grip away. You have to eliminate Alligator arming the T grip very quickly in the process and I set him up into it but corrected it quickly for good success. In the end another GDY canoeist is on the way.
