What New/Used boat

I want to get a new boat but I need a used boat. I paddle class 2 with some 3's and once in a while a 4. I'm getting up in years and pounds, and weight of boat is a big concern off the river. I'm 5 foot and 11 inches,210 pounds and I need a friendly boat that I can still have fun in and light as possible, preferably not over 50lb. and 12 feet or less, and used if possible. Can someone help or am I asking too much?

octane would be best, but you cant find them used. probes are good. im sure others will chime in.

Octane is 70 lbs +/-. I think you are a candidate for a Millbrook Big boy (Fat boy) or similar. Just don't take it down a slightly lubricated mountainside gully and you'll be very happy

It would be helpful to know what you currently paddle and have liked in the past.

A Spark is lightish in 12'. Outrage might be more forgiving at 210+ lbs.

+1 to that. The Outrage is a fun boat and not overly heavy. If you want a little more edge, try a Viper 11 or 12.

If I were looking for a lightweight, fun, 11-12' boat to paddle Class II and III water without many big drops, I'd try a Zephyr.

Compared to the Scamp any of the mentioned boats will be lighter. The Outrage will feel a little squirrelly at first but will be faster, dryer once you get used to it and much lighter.
Demo before buying if you can.

Some other boats to consider:
Bell Prodigy X
Esquif Raven (forgiving design with good hull speed)
Esquif Paradigm
Esquif Nitro (slow, but very forgiving)
Dagger Ovation
