JimiCup C1 mind meld...
JimiCup is July 21 at Smoothie on the Ottawa R. Will anybody be coming with their C squirt? Would anyone like to have a meeting of the minds- informal trading of skills in conjunction with the event? I'll be there with my Groove.

Ian, I am working hard on it!!! Not sure yet wether I can make it, as our raft trip here at Esprit is fully booked on Saturday, but if I can work things out, I'll be there with the Ceemweaver and the Acrobat!
Should I not be able to make it and if anyone wants to attend with either the Ceemweaver or the Acrobat, let me know and I'll let you borrow it. Just send me a message and come see me at Esprit in Davidson to pick it up!
Hope to see you there!
TGG!

I wish I could - we're expecting our 2nd child shortly, so I'm close to home.
If anyone is headed up (LEW?) and wants to grab the Mentor though let me know!

No can do! Wish I could... I can't even get on the UY this year let alone head north. Too far and too much travel this year already! Besides I have not had the chance to "adjust" the Acrobat yet.
Have fun!
Gonzo - get to work!
Adam - congrats on going from a weak zone defense to poorly executed man-to-man! You'll understand that once the 2nd shows up! LOL You'll love it!

I always heard that the difference between 2 and 3 was going from playing man-to-man to zone-defense.PAC wrote:Adam - congrats on going from a weak zone defense to poorly executed man-to-man! You'll understand that once the 2nd shows up! LOL You'll love it!
Congrats Adam! If my wife and I can move back to Burlington after I finish school, we'll have to work on a Splash-owners coop!

Thanks for the congratulations... and warnings:)
It'll be a zoo I'm sure (especially with the geriatric Husky and 1 year old cat...) but a lot of fun:)

Would there be interest in some sort of C1 gathering on the Ottawa for next year? Maybe we can plan something with a bit more lead time.

Oh and Congrats on the little one. Mine is 8 now and we're having a blast! I've introduced Isaac to kayaking and canoeing with no bias and true to tree from which he fell, this apple seems to choose his open boat about 90% of the time.
