Race Day Parking & Town Parade: The Town of Friendsville is having it's "Friendsville Day's" festivities on the same day as the Upper Yough Race. In fact a parade float line up is taking the whole North side of the road where Boaters Park, parade set to run at Noon. The Town is going to have an early one day only opening of the new parking area, on the grassy field to the South side of the normal boater parking area. Please enter Town on the West side since down town will be closed to traffic around 11:45pm, you will be directed to enter the new parking area right next to the Liquor store. Please DO NOT drive down Water street to access the parking. We even want you to Take Out under the Big Rout 68 Bridge and walk over to the parking area behind the Methodist Church. This is a one time use only to solve the problem of two big activities going on at the same time. The Town is working diligently to get the new parking area open permanently, please be patient. Also, the Friendsville Days festivities at the Town Park includes FOOD and entertainment. There is a great little Thai food vendor who comes here every year along with the wholesome local offerings. Thank you and please have a great race day!

Start at "wait rocks" above Gap Falls and ends at "Kendall Rocks" (pool), I beleive!

Just remember the traffic flow patterns will be different during the town's events during the day.

You showing Joe?

I'm thinking about spending the entry fee on other things and cheering you on from the PBR rock! Go fast, take chances and have fun!

My buddy is out....

You want to highside with me? That would work! Bring it just in case - if Tony is cool with that. Mine is getting re-hab'ed or taken out and shot (end of life). I'll toss the Prelude or Fink on the car as an option too. :-)

You lucky dogs...I just haven't been able to get in sync with my canoe crew too much this year. I'll be in Delaware doin' some fishin' with the family. Have fun, be safe and bring home some braggin' rights! I'll be out there next weekend...no doubt.
