Shoreline (walmart) pump...

Post by PAC »

Anyone have any experience with these pumps?
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Shoreline-Bilge-Pump/16609596" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I liked the Attwood 1250 but the newer versions are not impressing me. Looking to do a quick set up for a OC2 for hang with the daughter on the LY so might go dual of the lower GPH. Thoughts?

What problems have you seen with the Tsunami 1200s? I haven't had any issues with mine. Just installed one in the Caption over the weekend. When it didn't pump as fast as expected I reversed the wires at the battery and it threw water like a fire hose.
It AIN'T bent.

Unknown... never used them! Don't know anything about them other than the details / reveiw on the wal-hades page.

Just not 100% happy with the newer versions of the Attwoods. The 1250 was the bomb but the 1200 doesn't seem as strong.

I think I've bought about 8 of those Tsunami 1200's and never had a single problem (when wired in the right direction haha) and they kick out water like crazy. I really don't have anything to compare it with though since that is the only one I've used.

I have a V1250 and now use a Tsunami 1200 - can't even tell a difference - the Tsunami is just as strong and just as quick. The difference in pumping ability is less than one gallon per minute - you won't be able to tell the difference.

I have an Atwood 1200 and an Atwood 1250 as a dual pumpnsystem in my boat. The exit ports are colocated. The 1250 shoots the water about 2' farther away from the boat than the 1200 when the system is turned on. I have no idea how much more effective it is in real terms.
