Air bag plugs

Post by Einar »

Anyone bought airbag plugs as replacements.
I ripped on off during a roll and am looking for a replacement plus a couple of spares.
My bag is a 70" Harmony.
Thanks

By the way the Cascade, Idaho watersports park (4 surf waves) is great, a bonus add on to the
West Fest.

Paddling is easy, organizing shuttles is hard.
Not misplacing all your crap in somebody else's car seems to be even harder

I wonder if you could cut them out of water bags: http://www.doheny.com/poolsupplies/sku-9959p.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

These generally only hold water a couple of winters, then the bag is junk.

Einar, measure the diameter. I think I have one in a bag that had the fill tube pulled out. It is at my storage unit, so I'll check tomorrow.

I think they're called "BOSTON PLUGS"

I've seen the same thing on paintball obstacles.. maybe able to find some through a paintball place too..

Most float bag dump valves are made by Halkey Roberts:

Good info, thanks.

Mark
It's 1" i.d. (or 2.54 cm for "metric air")

Christine picked up the boat yesterday; I enforced a "sell back to me" clause at cost. I figure that the Outrage would be good boat for the M.F. Salmon on a raft supported trip, complementing a solo'ed Caption for a canoe supported trip.

Einar, I have the correct size plug. I'll cut the whole thing out with an inch or so of material. Send your address in an email to my work email address and I will put it in the mail.

Marc

P.S. I hope that Christine enjoys the Outrage.
