Gauley 2012 Plans?

Post by Cheeks »

I guess it's that time of year again. Who's going to Gauley this year?

I'm hoping to go out a week or two early and stay through the festival, so if any c-boaters want to get on the LG, the New, or maybe the UY if it ever releases, let me know. I'm thinking of scumbagging it at Swiss for a few weeks.

How about y'all?

One way or another, I will be out there on Festival Weekend (15-16 September) I am presently working out steed allocation for myself as well as Mr. T (fool!) Grips, but count on seeing me there.

PAC, I have never reserved there--I can't even remember the campground name.

I am trying just to overcome a boat deficiency issue right now, but pledging to be down there festival weekend regardless.

Might want to stick reservation duty on somebody else.

I think we stayed at Area #3 - sites #327 or #350 - $46 or something to that effect. Someone step up?

YOU have a "boat deficiency issue"? What's up with THAT!!!

I have to work out getting a canoe and carpool, but wanting to paddle the Gauley the second to last weekend in September. Next go to the Ocoee during the week and followed by the Upper Nantahala the end of September. Lastly attend NOC slalom first week of October.

Gauley Fest is Sept 14th-16th. A contingent of us, including Eddy McGnarlz and Chester amongst others, will be staying at the festival. Activities will include:

Whiskey Drinkin
Gravel Wrestlin
and doing hood rat things with our friends.

Hope to see some of y'all there
