for another convert to the custom wood stick. I had a chance to check Bob Halls new Jimi stick on its maiden Upper voyage this past satrday. All I can say is WOW beautiful paddle. What say ye Bob? I'm bettin he a solid convert.

Got to say I'm loving it! Compared to my Bandit, under water recovery strokes are smooth as silk. You can't beat Jim's knowledge of paddle physics or his beautiful craftsmanship.

Tried one out recently, and I'm sold, too. As tough as they are gorgeous.
Alex - no. The edge is dynel rope.

Oh as for holding up the dynel tip is great and Jimi's hold up way better than composite IMHO. Warm in the hand and easy on the elbow and shoulder!
