Planning on it - a friend is arranging camping at "Lost Mine" which is walking distance from the NOC. Last time they had them at the NOC, official camping was at "Turkey Creek".

As I mentioned in the upper Nantahala thread, my dad and I will be there all week. We were planning on staying at the Bunkhouse, but can't find where to make reservations for it online. Any suggestions? Sounds like Lost Mine might be a good second choice.

Thanks,
Shep

Camp up at the end of wesser creek road. FS land starts at the far end of the trailhead cul-de-sac

This place looks like a camping option:

It's closer than Turkey Creek and they might be more amenable to groups.
