Sad news on the passing of Keith Backlund....

RIP Keith! You'll be remembered for the many laughs and the outstanding craftsmanship!
.Well... I've just heard from Ann. Our hero passed away last night - at his brother's house in Stalker- the home he grew up in. They were going out to eat and he couldn't catch his breath- and then passed quickly. He had a delightful couple days and a night out eating with his family.
The Kayak Kid lives on in legend. He did a lot for us all. I'm glad to have been a small part of it.
Job well done Keith! Thanks for sharing time with us! And Ann- thanks for taking care of the master when he needed you most
