Haven't paddled one, but have seen one. A friend came over the other night for outfitting help on his new Novacraft Ocoee. Much stouter gunwales than the Bell version. Boat looked well made overall. He got the heavier Royalex layup. It's your standard modern Royalex--thicker than the Bell version which I have. We were comparing the two side by side. One odd thing is it didn't have any of the eyelets for airbag cord. You'll have to buy and install those yourself or drill holes in the Royalex.

I just drill holes. It only hurts once.
