Great performance for US slalom c-1 today

Post by JFD »

Not sure where to find the results online, but saw a link on FB to today's US slalom team trials results at ASCI. Casey Eichfield took 1st place for the day, ahead of Michal Martikan. Just thought it was worth mentioning on here. Considering Martikan's accomplishments, I think it is simply amazing that a US athlete was able to take the top spot. Congrats Casey and good luck to everyone racing up there this weekend.

Awesome!

ASCI is Casey's 'back yard'... he knows that course better than anyone I can think of that competes at this level.

Would love to see video of his runs. Being faster on any day against Martikan is a great accomplishment.

Casey beat me in a race; Casey beat Martikan in a race; let's see how far I can take this logical fallacy  Awesome!

Hey... I remember beating Casey in a race. (He was 8 years old at the time.) Where does that put me? :P

I think he started beating me the next year.
