Wait, wait wait - who from Arlington paddles a L'edge?
Jon Walsh, happy to meet you. Likewise an Arlington resident. Paddling short plastic canoes locally and getting strange looks for it since 2002.

what bags exactly do you use for what canoe and post a link please.
when I looked into dunage bags I considered going retro back to truck inner tubes first. Please Post some pics. Nothing to me looked like it would fit well. what I saw was 12" or less in diameter and didn't seem to look like it would fit the bow well. It also looke like it would let a ton of water under the bag.

With a few exceptions, most people have had some success with Gaia, voyager, Mohawk and others. I m not concerned enough the cost to go back to inner tubes, dunnage bags etc. At 100 bucks a piece, air bags are about the cheapest gear I use.
I haven't seen dunnage bags that look like they d fit well either. Maybe we need a video to make us all believers.

Yes, a little more information about the Dunnage Bags would be most helpful
such as
what material type are the bags made of
what sizes have worked for you
where you bought the bags from
I would think you are using something similar to ITW Shippers Big Foot vinyl airbags

Lot of 6 48" square bags. Fold one in half, stuff under airbag lacing, and inflate? If this is what Harry is talking about, you could outfit 3 L'Edges (or similarly sized boats) with airbags for $40.
