Any thoughts on converting (to C1) a Pyranna S-8 235? I want to try a little C1 playboating and this boat is sitting un-used in my barn.

IT's length and width are good, 235cm / 7'8" and 67cm / 26.5"
Pyranha are great boats.

I am a hugh fan of Pyranha boats (and most of my time in kayaks were as, well, kayaks).
I gotta say, the S-8 was not a favorite. I thought it would be the perfect river-running surf machine for me (6-4/200lbs). Alas, the length was good for speed, but I found the volume at the ends to be too lacking. It dove and subbed out at inconvenient times while paddling bigger stuff, and I had to really lean back to keep the bow up on moderately steep waves. Could have been my weight...
If you have one, I say see what happens. It is slicey and will surf like a mad-man. Initiating the bow or stern for cartwheels or stern squirts shoud be even easier from a c-1 set up with more torque available from being up higher than a kayaker.
