Hi!

Trying to find out the lengths for the stock thwarts for an Esquif prelude. Bolt hole to bolt hole is fine.

Thanks!

Dan

(And yes, I already searched...)

On my ESQUIF Prelude, the forward thwart is 22-3/4" bolt hole to bolt hole. The stern thwart is 23".

If we really mean Esquif, it might be possible to grab the excellent line image from their website, and calculate dimensions based on the known length. New math and all that.

Well, Esquif reports a "width" of 25" for the 'lude. I was trying to figure out if this was at the tumblehome or the midpoint of the gunnels, and thanks to your help, I found it must be at the midpoint of the gunnels. The tumblehome is several inches wider when using the thwart dimensions given here for Esquif boats. I figure the Pyranha boats are a tad different and don't want to compare apples and oranges.

Anyhow, I cut the new thwarts last night, and went with an overall width from outside of midpoints of the gunnels of about 25-1/2" to try and eke out a tad bit more stability. This is still narrower than the same measurement point on our Viper, so it should be OK in terms of reach for cross-strokes.

Thanks again for the help!
