I just picked up a used Wave Sport Diesel 80 this weekend for a conversion. Getting to a lake to work out the saddle position will be tough. Can any Diesel owners tell me what works for them?

6-8" off the rim of the cockpit seems to work for most boats. Chances are you're going to need to do some tweaking to the outfitting for awhile regardless.

Hopefully someone that's actually converted one can help though.
