Zealot spray skirt

Post by WeCanoe »

I recently bought a Zealot C1 and need a spray skirt for it tomorrow. Does anyone know of a standard skirt model that will fit it? As long as I am asking, which air bags fit it best?

Where are you?

I got mine from Rapidstyle but I don't think Dana Chladek is dealing anymore.

I would call the Hearns at Maximumwhitewaterperformance. (See cboats links.)

It seems like a just slightly larger than average cockpit.

Been a long time since I owned a Zealot, but it is the garden variety round C-1 skirt that nearly every boat used in that era.

We don't need no stinking airbags.

I second the vote to call Davey and Jennifer...

Yep to EZ and yep to "old and in the way". Today's standard slalom cockpits are significantly larger than previous models. The Zealot has a slightly larger opening than the "standard" size of the older models, but not big enough for Dagger Atom-sized skirts. Give Davey and Jennifer a holler.
