Got a case of gunnel rot.

Decked Canoes, Open Canoes, as long as they're canoes!

Got a case of gunnel rot.

Would anyone know of a canoe repair shop within a reasonable drive from North New Jersey? Most of the woodwork in this 16 foot canoe seems reasonable but the gunnels need replacing.

Thank you,

Tom

I've used Blue Mountain Outfitters in Harrisburg for 2 different boats with great results. (717)957-2413.

Thank you, bruce.

They've been recommended often in replies to my query. Wish I had the time to tackle this project but that won't be possible for quite a while. Having them do the work may mean I have a canoe to paddle in the spring but will I have the spare the time to paddle? Gotta work on my priorities.
