Visually very impressive, but I rarely drop my boat off a building (cars are a different matter). The next video should show the boat broached in big current, preferably with one missing air bag, which we do see in real life from time to time, and not bending. That would really impress me. If it does bend, then...?

I noticed that the GoPro in the boat survived intact as well. Pretty good.

Just to be a contrarian, that wasn't much of a test. The boat hit flat at about 15 mph. (The terminal velocity was probably reached after the first 3 floors due to aero drag.) A real-world "crash" test would be a 5 mph impact directly at the bow, with 300 lbs of ballast. I guarantee that there would be more significant damage then. Of course, most of the damage we do is not direct impact, it's long-term abrasion. That test tells me nothing of that. It's all theater.

The older I get and the more plastic boats I weld the more I like Royalex.
