Solo Canoe Advice.

Looking for a new solo boat....I'm 6'4" tall, weigh 210 lbs, usually carry 10-15 lbs gear, am an intermediate paddler. Looking for a good down river runner, like to catch all eddies, surf waves on the way down. Prefer something stable, predictable, dry and relatively fast....had a Prodigy X, and really enjoyed it, now have an Outrage X and don't really care for it. Can't seem to find too much suitable. Willing to look at new, used, older etc....any advice what boat to consider?? Thanks!

Well, you better start saving for gas, as I live in the Yukon....so, neat looking boat...virtually unheard of here. Can you tell me, firstly, it's obviously heavy for the short length...is it a total pig if trying to do a long day, or paddle out etc...are they for sale anywhere in Canada, is the material tough? Thanks!

Mentioned it to a couple locals....said way to blunt and pig like for anything but our most downhill rivers here...still looking...anyone paddle an Esquif Raven?

You stated you were looking for "relatively fast". Well then, any canoe from Millbrook Boats is your obvious only choice, that's provided you want composite.
