I've used it as a work boat for a program and always enjoy it. It's big, stable, forgiving, and fast but I can still pop into lots of eddies if I set myself up ahead of time. Go big or go home I always say.

It depends what you're looking for. I have one I use for WW river trips that range in 3 to 15 days in duration. It holds all my gear, is super stable, is reasonably fast on the flats, is reasonably maneuverable when loaded in the WW and not a bear to portage when necessary. On the other hand, if I was looking for a boat to play down a river with this wouldn't be it. FWIW, I also had the X version for the same purpose and prefer the regular version.

Thank you for the two replies. My primary use would be river running, eddy hopping. I started out in a 14 foot Sunburst and enjoyed it for any river from creeks to the Ocoee.

The boat looks to be more flat than one life the Dagger Prophet or similar. Any opinions?

The reason I am interested is because my legs are no longer able to take the c boat for long trips without going dumb. I would still have the Atom and Noah glass boat. It would be nice to get something for the rivers in the Cumberland Plateau area.

I agree with
