I just got off the phone with Ed and Murky Waters.

First time I really talked to him at length.

WOW, what an exceptionally knowledgable, super nice fellow!

(I know...I know... he's Canadian, what do I expect ;) ).

I'm finally getting around to having him build me a boat I've always wanted. When I get the graphics figured out, and he builds it, I"ll post images:)

You already have a Groove. I don't see anything else in his list that I thought you'd be interested in. Is there something that's not listed?

There are other Massive molds he has...if I understand correctly he's built most (all?) of the production Massive boats (Ian can confirm or deny).

There is a "normal" boat. Which don't get me wrong, is awesome.

But then there is a not so normal one.

I'm sure you can guess which has been ordered....

I just ordered a tandem Black Fly, so I feel your passion and excitement. I cannot wait to take the grand daughter paddling in this boat. Jeremy said first of June, sounds a long way off....lol.

Adam, Do you want us to start guessing, or do you want to maintain the suspense?

COOL!!!

can't wait to see the pics! Ed's boats are always awesome!!! As far as I can remember there is actually only (apart from the Groove and the kayaks) one mold for the massive boats. The difference beteen the 'normal' and the 'not so normal' boat is in how the sheerline is trimmed. That's at least what I remember from when I visited the Murky Water shop a few years ago together with Sparky.

TGG!

Great Gonzo - you are right... and I have the full story behind that too now, which makes it all the more interesting:)

Let's keep the suspense up for a bit- mostly as there are NO good images of said boat out there, and as folks will ask I'd rather have a good image to share.
