What's the Galasport Jungle like? I have an opportunity to buy one, so am searching for background info before the weekend.

Yes, I've been told it's 4-m. Haven't laid eyes on it yet.
I'm still learning boat genealogy, so correct me if I'm wrong: the reduced bow volume was popular in several models of that era. If it evolved from the Pyrog, it will feel vaguely familiar to me, cause I've paddled a very leaky Pyrog on flatwater a couple of times. By the way, it is easy to roll even without the deck (I didn't have one)--just like an OC1!
