Walk in runs and carrying an OC1 - what for a carry system?

did my first walk in run for an age today and the black fly option is sweet to run, but hard to carry for an hour. Having moved back to NZ, I'm expecting to do a few more walk ins and was wondering if anyone has got a really good carry system for short open boats? Tweaked my neck a couple of years ago and can't easily carry it on my head as I used to. Lighter boats sure, but not PE ones. Shoulder carry is ok for short walks, but not really ideal with a hefty boat for longer walks.
So anyone got any good systems?

Maybe a couple cam straps between front and rear thwarts to act as a suspension system to rest on shoulders

I've used a Kelty frame with an extension bar that supports the boat at the saddle. Puts the load on the hips as well as the shoulders. But with your short boat, I don't know what you would do with the pack frame once you get to the river.

I'm using these together with a traditional wooden portage yoke.

Some cool ideas guys, thanks.
WildwaterC2 - can you send a photo of how you've got that set up? Trying to picture how that would work.
Cheers,
Matt
