They're Storm Chasers, made by River Elf. Very nice boats.

Storm Chasers - sort of like race boats on steroids. Only got to paddle a bit but like the weight and the design. Think Kelly-Rand has one in his quiver so I'll defer to him! :-)

Well, I haven't had enough time on the river in challenging water this year to give a fair assessment of the boat. I had it out for the fourth time on easy water yesterday but I suffered from cramps due to not paddling for 3 weeks and a lot of biking. It does surf well and I seem to be able to attain as well as in the Atom. It ferries well but not with the same speed as my sharper edged boats. I've had it in some small holes that let go easy enough so I'm looking forward to a more challenging run soon.
