Caleb ran the Seymour Canyon, our local urban creek in North Vancouver, B.C., yesterday. As far as we know, it has only been done once before OC, by Tyler Elm in the '90's.
It is a real typical West Coast test piece: narrow, no exiting, sharp granite, blind drops & continuous. Very cool.
His hull was a Blackfly Option.
We are a small ww OC community out here, gotta love it when somebody breaks thru the limits.
Way to go Caleb.

(When I say urban, I mean Urban. Several, 3, of our deep canyon runs are inside the city borders, surrounded by houses and shopping malls. Another 40 minutes paddling, on the next section, and Caleb would have been taking out on the salt water at the shipyards)

Paddling is easy, organizing shuttles is hard.
Not misplacing all your crap in somebody else's car seems to be even harder

Very cool. He styles it. In his one misstep, he really sidesurfs that hole a long time before swimming.
