C1 conversions and airplane buckle releases

In my C1 conversions, I have found inconsistencies in airplane buckles and the tab release. I have a good pair that release with only a small lift of the hinged tap, and another pair that I won’t install because they require opening the tab nearly 90 degrees. I bought both pairs from an ebay seller.

Does anyone know a good brand or seller?

Strap works ? I can't say that they re any different then what you have. What difference does it make if you have to open them to 90 to get them to release?

I like a quicker release. Especially good when things are turbulent and I want air.
