i have two Pothole canoe paddles. They are fantastic paddles however the Dynell tip has worn off one of them. It was repaired but the repair has not held up. What is the best epoxy to use to repair the tip of a wooden paddle and how does one attach more Dynell?

I used West System 105 resin with 207 hardener when I put dynel cord on the tip of my paddle blade.

I haven't had to replace it yet, but when I do I imagine I would first cut/grind/sand off the remains of the old dynel. Then I'd clean thoroughly and epoxy on the new cord.

First soak the cord in epoxy in a cup, because it soaks up a lot of resin.

Use stretch wrap to "clamp" the cord firmly onto the blade.
