Looking for a good quality, rigid whitewater breakdown canoe paddle. I have a blackfly option, probably need a 3 piece because of room.

I have tried a aqua bound but seems a little spongy for me. There is a company in Canada that makes one that is really sturdy but cant find it online. Ed Powers has one if anyone knows him. Thanks in advance for any comments.

I think you're looking for Shaggy Designs. They make a very nice and well priced paddle. I had one and would buy another

I have a 3-piece Werner bandit for my breakdown. Works well.

Likely no one would stock the 3-piece version of this paddle, but it is a regular item and any dealer can order one. It is slightly heavier than the single shaft but not a lot.

I have werner 3 piece, glass bandit. It's fine.

I like my Shaggy a lot more! Price is pretty similar to a Werner and it's much nicer.

I’m pleased with my Aqua Bound break-downs. I have a 2-piece and a 3-piece.

I’ve heard good things about the Werner break-down.

Didn’t know Shaggy Designs made break-downs.
