Transport needed for C-1 from iTOMCO

Does your boat need a lift? Find other CBoaters who can give your boat a lift! CBoats.net does not endorse any particular boater for transport, and obviously use your "gut" feeling of whether you want to transport your boat via a stranger. That said, literally dozens of boats have been moved safely and cheaply this way over the past few years!

Transport needed for C-1 from iTOMCO

Post by John Coraor »

I'm arranging to buy a used slalom C-1 from Tom Hewitt @ iTOMCO in Ontario and need some help in getting it South.

Tom can deliver to the upcoming Pumphouse Slalom on July 12th and possibly to the Gull River Slalom before that, so I'm hopeful that I can get someone at the JOs to transport it south for me, but have since those people are largely on the road at this time, it's going to be difficult to reach them to work out the arrangements.

The ultimate destination is Huntington, NY, on Long Island, but I can probably arrange for pick-up from many other locations, as well as possibly coordinate an in-route meet for those travelling by somewhere within a few hours drive, so chime in if you can help.

I can be reached by e-mail at jcoraor@town.huntington.ny.us

Thanks!

Looks like I'm all set. I have both primary transport and a back-up arrangement.

Thanks!
