OC-1 will need transport to California- are you headed West?

Does your boat need a lift? Find other CBoaters who can give your boat a lift! CBoats.net does not endorse any particular boater for transport, and obviously use your "gut" feeling of whether you want to transport your boat via a stranger. That said, literally dozens of boats have been moved safely and cheaply this way over the past few years!

OC-1 will need transport to California- are you headed West?

Post by Grand Canyoned »

I've just been exposed to slalom paddling, and I'm looking at purchasing an OC-1 slalom canoe.

Since there are few open slalom canoes available out West, I'm shopping the Net for an affordable used boat on the East Coast.

Once I find a boat that fits my needs (it will likely have composite hull, so I won't want it shipped by a trucking company), I'll be seeking help in getting the boat out to the West.

I live near San Francisco CA, but I could take delivery in any city in California, or in Reno, NV.

I'd welcome the help of any boaters or travellers who can assist with transport. I'd pay $100 towards your gas costs.
