canoe locks

I keep my boat/s locked to the Xtera whenever I'm not with it. I drill a 3/8" hole near the gunnell and pass a cable lock through it. The cable lock I use is marketed as one that locks deer stands to a tree. One can also pass this lock through the bars that support foot pegs. Also when a pedestal is out of a boat you can put a 3/4" CPVC pipe through the sides of a mini-cell pedestal for this purpose.
