It was the only thing I could get him in a hurry, remember he had two raft trip as a customer under his belt before we got that boat he did a 25' falls his second time in it and his fourth time on Whitewater I always figured it was a thrill seeker or what ever they are called, I still think of them as deathyaks. I have had him in a real boat twice ( see the Actopan video) he ain't a natural but he is real stuborn and won't quit. We will finish this job in about a month and head north doin rivers on the way when I get him back to Tennessee I will put him in a real boat.

ya they grow that weed brace everywhere down here and the skins cost more than the filler. The most beautiful women in all of old Mexico are in this state of Veracruz. Mexico is definetely on the hit list with all the nice scenery we've been seeing recently, and having met Jim and knowing the class is organization has.
Just waiting for my little guy to get a bit older to better enjoy these rivers and creeks.

Avatar is cold, that was the end of a 53km(40 miles) free style XC race at -20c(6F). But here in Ottawa/Gatineau I live 15 minutes away from Gatineau Park http://www.capitaleducanada.gc.ca/bins/ ... g=1&bhcp=1 which has 120 miles of groomed XC trails of all levels accessible 24hrs/day which is paradise for someone like me who's out there 5 times a week.

And after 1000 miles XC ski season, spring paddling is effortless

If it's not the stellar canoeing, it's the skiing! And I will be missing both. A ski pass I've not used yet and will not use at all this year because of a benign brain tumor that hemorrhaged in October (still not allowed to do squat!) and not boating til god knows when because the silly thing is being taken out in March. NO ALF for me this year!!

At least I will be better than new come May, so I'll keep that in mind.
And I can watch all the videos you guys are posting.
