LOVE the Valley Falls! Did anybody do the right drop or the far right slide?

I love how Ed turns to look at who Paul is cheering for, when he comes up.

Kneal -- u mean river left. No. But it looked doable, especially far left with 2 tongues. River left (Center) looked too juicy per Mr T Grips n Gumpy. We tool a long look at Hamburger helper downstream but it looked class 6. All walked.

Wish u had been there!

Thanks, Al. It would have been a blast. Water level looked great! The video looked like y'all were already on the left side of the falls. There is a pretty decent 25ish foot slide on the side where the parking is and the sign-in booth for boaters. That IS the river-right, is'nt it? The slide has a left bend toward the bottom. UGH! I gotta go boat!

Kneal,

You're right. we did not run the river right section on top. It was VERY runable compared to what I have run it in the past. I believe the level in general was about 6"-1' higher than I'd ever done the falls.
The problem with it is is that it's over so quick and then you have to carry your boat up again over the boulders. There were some tired puppies paddlin what with having done the TY Friday and LG on Saturday.
If u had been there, man....I woulda done it with u!
