After a season in the Esquif L'Edge I must say "I'm in love, love, love!."
Footage is from the Upper Black River (ON), the Dumoine River (QC), the Twin Falls section of the Grass (NY), and the Sluice Falls section of the Oswegatchie (NY).

Re: Ode to the Esquif L'Edge
lots of fun
I liked the short hold-the-water strokes at approx. 1:30, great situational awareness.

Re: Ode to the Esquif L'Edge
thanks! My approach to that eddy could have been a little bit better but I made it work in the end. I love catching improbable, or overlooked eddies. One of my favourite things to do in a canoe.
