For me; boating brings me closer to to something divine, and in a open canoe I'm 8 Inches closer.

What a great little vid Bob, thanks!

What's also cool is how many different techniques we can see in such a short clip. Ferry in strong current, boof, pivot turn, many surfs on different types and sizes of features with basic moves like candles, blasting, carving, turning... We also saw exactly how a C1 should be rolled: in many different ways depending on how you flip! Backdeck, standard, offside backdeck we saw them all.

But most importantly, it really does looks fun! I wouldn't hesitate showing that clip to anybody wondering what C1ing is.

Cheers! :D
Watch out; that river has rocks on the bottom. :o

Sweet. A Storm - I was paddling a Whiplash about then. My roll was faster then, too... Must have been the skinny boat

I learned a lot in that boat - had to - it was so tippy, but surfed and squirted like crazy. Squashed the bow a bit but never really could cartwheel it we'll.
