I feel your pain. I broke a rib on the first day on a Grand Canyon trip a few yr ago. take out was 15 days / 225 miles later.. good video

I was off the water a mere several hours later, and--more importantly--not sleeping on a thermarest two nights later. I don't know how you 15 days of paddling and camp-bed sleeping. Painkillers?
It's taken me 7 weeks to paddle whitewater again.
