2014 Oregon Paddling

Post by milkman »

Here's a shortened version of the annual video I do of the year's best action in our club. The first section is random clips. Next section is tandem action. That's followed by falling from high places. And at 9:24 starts the carnage and near misses. http://youtu.be/rM2dY0WkDIM

Nice! I watched a video of some of y'all on a low water MFS run and was in awe of some of the stuff I saw in it. At first I thought maybe it was the Dagger chapter of your club. Someone was soloing what looked like a Caption but I never could tell for sure.

What you probably saw was a guy or two paddling Dagger Genesis canoes. I've done the Middle Fork Salmon and Main as a combo now three times and posted videos. Twice I paddled it in my Genesis. One of the two times, another paddler was paddling his Genesis as well. Mine is teal. His is red. Great canoes for solo tripping. Mine is a 1992 and still going strong.

Excellent filming, water levels, and boating skills.
