Air bag Inflator

Post by Atlas »

Does anyone think this could be modified to fill bags decently? I have some giant gaia bags. and currently half fill them up at home with an air compressor then use a hand pump at the put in. only reason I ask about this Is I would like to just keep tools in the family tree.. that being said. if you have a cheaper easier suggestion i'm all ears.

That is likely high pressure, low volume - you need low pressure, high volume. A friend of mine has a battery powered blower he uses that fits in his tool family tree -

[edit - got it backwards - high volume, low pressure]

Good points. It will work but be slow.

You've been pointed to a better option--faster inflator

Pretty much anything that will inflate a tire will be less than ideal for air-bags. It's been several years since I used air-bags, but I seem to recall that my 4 D cell Coleman did a decent job. It's designed to inflate an air mattress. Belows type foot pumps were ok too.
