Sacramento,CA area OC lessons...

Bought a Mad River Explorer KX( awesome deal) for my wife and myself to paddle this summer at the lake. Both of us paddled outriggers when we were kids in our native country. I was wondering if there's any outfit teaching canoe basics in the Sacramento area. Been watching videos of techniques for canoeing but it's different when you take a lesson. Also there's some white water in my area too that in the future I may wanna try, maybe get a boat for that as well. Well , that's way in the future. Gotta learn how to paddle this big canoe first.
