I am thinking about buying a dagger id 6.9 and converting it, I have solo boated a fair bit, but haven't spent an awful lot of time in a c1.

I am wondering if anyone has opinions on it as a c1? Also, I am approaching the upper weight limit (175lbs) at 170, should I wait for another boat?

I've had one, it was a bit edgy and slicey. I would suggest a more friendly first C-1 unless you are the type looking for a bit of a challenge. Surfed good and rolled well (which you will most likely get some practice with).
