Wanting to rent/ borrow whitewater canoe in Northern CA

I'm flying into sanfran ca tomorrow and have been looking to find a whitewater canoe to rent, borrow, I'll buy the beer, etc. Will be in town through Sunday and hoping to get in a few trips. Will be in the Arcata/Eureka CA area and would love to find a canoe to paddle somehow. Very confident class four paddler and definitely willing to pay for rental and be responsible for canoe. Bringing my gear except for paddle and canoe with me as it was too expensive to ship them from Tennessee. If anyone knows of a canoe in the area that is not being utilized this week please let me know. Would love to get out and paddle with some folks while in the area.
