Gudday y'all
Camping will be at Camping Arnist in Oberwil, In the Simmental. Oberwil is a town just above the river, near Heidenweidli.

I've talked to the campground, so no need to make your own reservation. Just let me know if you're coming, and if you plan to tent or have a camper/bus.

Campsite details: http://www.campingarnist.ch/35306.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Look forward to c'ing you there!

It's the "official" :) information? Can I add it to ECBA page?

Hi!

Please help us plan a bit and register (not binding) here on CBoats, on wildwasserboard.de, Facebook or via Mail so that we know for how many people to cook on Saturday evening and to give tha Campsite a chance to be prepared!

Hi all,

here's a short guessing game of what will be new at this year's Armada:

a) A big festival tent for up to 2000 people
b) A special sun-operated machine, set up on each days rivers to heat them to 20°C for more comfort
c) Free helicopter take out / put in for more runs a day
d) Specially designed armada stickers available
e) A two week paddling trip for in Costa Rica for all Armada paddlers, sponsored by a huge paddlesport company ;)

Cu there in a few days...

yes we had a great great time! It was the biggest european armada ever, I didn`t know there are so much cboaters around! We had cold and rainy weather but on the other hand good water levels and much fun on the water. It was so much fun meeting all those nice people, I´m still stoked. With Chris "Cheeks" Loomis from PY/USA and Vero Beauchemin from Quebec/CA we had also two guests from overseas, it was nice to meet you, I guess you had fun too.

On the ECBA-page of Pjotrek from Poland you can see under the wonderful sticker of Paul Mason (a hint about the paddling abilities of the euro paddlers...?) below "ARMADA 2013/ LINKS" all the links to the images and short cellphone films. Falks images are exceptionally nice and show what a great meeting it was: http://europeancboatarmada.tk/index.php ... oat-armada" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

A little late but nevertheless: here's the direct link to my pics from this years Euro Armada

But use the detour via the Euro Armada webpage (see link in Fez' post above), there's more to discover (infos, videos, more links)...

It was good meeting old friends and making new ones. CU all (and more?) next year!
"A canoe trip?" he said. "There ain't nothing to go down there for."
"Because it's there," Lewis said.

Gudday,
Sorry for the slow response - was off paddling the 2 weeks since the Aramada and only just got back :-)

Had a great time - amazing to have so many cboaters here in Bern. I think we raised the water level on the Simme on Thursday by having 60 canoes on the river at once!

Scared a few locals on the raods too....for some reason someone decided letting us pass first was a good idea when he met us on a narrow section of road:

All in all a great time with old friends and some new friends too. Many thanks to all who helped put it together and especially to those who drove (or flew) long distances to join! I look forward to seeing you all again soon on a river somewhere!

Next year - the Soca in Slovenia! Looking forward to it already....

Cheers,

Very very late, and it's kind of a quick edit, but here is the video with the footage I gathered. There are a lot of brilliant stills available, but fixing all the video formats already consumed a lot more time then I wanted.
