Memphremagog Canoe, Fiberglass, 18'6" WWOC-2, $350
Memphremagog Canoe, Fiberglass, 18'6" long, model WWOC-2. Designed by Vincent, built by Mempremagog Canoe Co. in Newport, Vermont in the mid-1980s (successor to The Common Canoe Co. of Craftsbury Vt.). Initial stability is fair, final stability is outstanding. Light for a fiberglass boat, and very fast. Both bow and stern seats are on sliding tracks and both bow and stern have adjustable foot braces. Comes with extra large Seda center float bag. We are the original owners, and it is all original. Garage stored since new, except for last two years stored on sawhorses under a tarp. Good condition for its age. All hardware works, and the wooden gunwales have no cracks or splits. Built-in bow and stern float tanks are intact. Bow has been patched and reinforced after head-on encounter with a boulder at speed on the Androscoggin. Several other minor patches. The price is so low because there are four cracks in the fiberglass resin (but not through the fabric) - see last photo, shows the worst crack - the result of our improper storage last winter (upside down lightweight fg boat on sawhorses under a tarp + heavy snow = stress cracks) - all cracks are well above the waterline, and will be easy to repair, but because repair is needed the price is low, $350. Pick up in Laconia, NH. Contact us by email at [slrn at metrocast dot net] if you would like to buy it, or if you would like more photos, or if you have questions.

That's still a fast cruiser, and looks to be in remarkable shape for it's age. Someone should snap it up at this great price.
