I am helping sell this beautiful Acrobat C1 for a friend. I brought this boat to the 2011 C-boats Armada, so some of you may remember paddling it. This was custom made for my friend Kathy, who is still the current owner. Asking price is $900 (with skirt). UPDATE: $800 o/b/o ----- UPDATED AGAIN!!! $700 OBO
The boat is circa 1994 (or so), it is a 4 over 5 layup of glass and kevlar and is 11.5 feet long. Its a very durable layup. The boat has white seams (very rare) and has a white metal flake coat with beautiful colors to it. The boat was cut as a river runner for someone 130 pounds, but works very well as a squirt boat/ playboat for someone more like 180-190 pounds. Beautiful, like-new custom Skirt included with Small/Medium tunnel. It is outfitted well with a foam saddle and thigh straps.
Located in Northeast Pennsylvania, Albrightsville, PA. Willing to travel for sale, or can bring to C-boats Armada 2013 if not sold by then, or to other locations around the Northeast.
This Acro is in the best shape of any I've ever seen. It was at the 2011 Armada. I see by the label it's a 1/2" cut. I used to have one the same cut. Do not be affraid of this if you're in the 180-190lbs. range. I'd call it a squirtable cruiser for that weight. You'll be able it cartwheel on flatwater, but don't expect to roam unless you've got way better skills than I have.
Canotrouge, I used to have an Acrobat the same cut as this one. At 190lbs, it's not a mystery machine, more of a squirtable cruiser. You may want to try this one. Unless you have a new one built, you'll never find one in this good a condition. This boat is too nice not to have sold by now.
