Since the topic of the day is dry suits...
Has anyone replaced their drysuits zipper? If so how hard and any tips / suggestions?
As of right now I have a suit that needs work and those that repair are on hiatus. I'm in no rush but figure with the availability of scub dry suit zippers on ebay (not real expensive) I might give it a go.
thoughts?

Is it a Kokatat, Paul?
Re: Drysuit zipper replacement
Nope - NRS. Just wondering if others have done this at home. Looks like the scub folks do it often with success.

Do you have a link for the zippers? I always thought it would not be worth the effort to change out a zipper

A dive shop will likely do this for you. NRS probably would too.
I would be skeptical doing it myself. Seems a lot harder than a gasket.

Very hard as a DIY. Need industrial sewing machine and seam sealing equipment. Dive shop or mfger would be best bet. Unless suit is in very good shape probably not worth the effort.
