Have you searched for "rolling" on this site, or even "rolling videos"?

I know I've looked at video through here (but no promises on what side).

Watch the video in a mirror. No, seriously.

Try getting most of the motions working by simply falling to your on-side and rolling up from the low brace. Then after you get the "muscle memory" of the set up position it will be easier to flip to your off side and get into the setup position.

Another thing, if you can obtain a larger OC for pool practice, it will offer you the option of an air pocket to stop and collect yourself, getting used to being upside down...

Come to the pool session in Lexington, KY friday night. There's usually a few canoers there to help with roll problems. I have helped other handers with their rolls. http://surfbwa.org/html/eventsN.html

I don't do the Bob Foote roll. I'm not sure of the name of the roll I do. It seems to work better with c-1 than oc-1. That may just be 'cuz open boats are harder to roll.

Yeah, that's the roll I learned. What is it called?
