Good Day,

I am just inquiring if any openboaters are planning on attending the NWCC??? I am planning on heading down for the east fork lewis race and want to know if there will be any other oc1's.

I probably won't race this year, but I would love to boat with you while you're down here. I've paddled the East Fork Lewis and Canyon Creek in my canoe.

In 2013 I was the lone C1'r in a Cascade. I swam at Dragon's back but I eventually finished the race. In 2014 I helped with safety. It's really fun to participate in the event. Lots of great boaters and a really good, inclusive vibe. They'd be stoked to have an open boater in the race.

I think you should race! it would be so chill and fun to have another open boater.
Plus, if we have three, then we have our own bracket!!!

Ether way, I think I will be traveling down on the 7th, then ready to do laps and boat till the 10th when I leave.

Are you alone down there? or are there some other guys who have stayed true and keep their paddles short?
