I've been down in Tahoe all winter enjoying the epic snow this year, but now that spring is starting to show itself I've started dusting off the boating equipment.
Anyway I'm new to this whole area and was wondering if there are any other c-boaters, or clubs in this area? I'd love to meet some people who know this area and know what a c-1 is.
Tahoe / Reno c boaters?

wow! another c-boater on the west coast! yeah!
i'm not from reno but i'm boating in the Sierra's every weekend (just about). Bruce Farrenkopf is in Reno but i don't think he boats any more , a couple others are in the Bay Area, and a few others are lurking i'm sure. Norwood is running the full-on class 5. the rest of us, as far as i know, are at class 4 or 4-5.
i love paddling with other c-boaters but it seems like it's hard to motivate the few sorryasslazymofo's that i know.
e-mail me hoh@sonic.net. and lets boat!

Hey Larry,
I will be in Cali most likely 4th May tp 12 May.
(AGAIN! I know, life is hard.)
I know that's not very long but maybe we hook up this time. On the schedule are (depending on water)
Mill, Deer and Feather.
Cheers, Jan

What festivals?
What festivals?
Pardon my ignorance I'm know virtually nothing about boating down here in California. That and the fact that my brain is just starting to thaw from ski mode.
Anyway one more question, are there any good park and play spots besides the Reno WW park around? I can't seem to find any refrences online to any, just a bunch of creeks. I just put in some new snowboard strap thigh straps that I want to test out on my play boat.
